Reduce Screen Brightness While Idle
Automatically reducing the screen brightness in specific scenarios. This allows you to maximize battery life in situations where the iPad kiosk cannot be plugged into an external power source or has lost power.

Configure how long the screen will sit idle before minimizing brightness to the minimum possible level (and therefore consuming less power).
Default Value
- Never
Other Possible Values:
- After 30 seconds of inactivity
- After 1 minute of inactivity
- After 5 minutes of inactivity
- After 10 minutes of inactivity
- After 30 minutes of inactivity
- After 60 minutes of inactivity
When a visitor touches the screen, the screen will be returned to the previous brightness level, making the kiosk ready for use.

Apply Reduce Screen Brightness

This setting lets you choose when the Reduce Screen Brightness setting should apply based on the battery percentage of the device, allowing you to conserve battery if the device is unplugged or recharging.
Note: Reduce Screen Brightness must be set to something other than Never in order for this setting to have an effect.
