Delay While Idle Timer is Active
This option will delay a remote update while a visitor is interacting the kiosk. When Show Update Indicator is enabled, the app will delay downloading any files while the Idle Time Limit is active, indicating that a visitor is interacting with the kiosk. When the visitor leaves and the idle timer executes, the app will then display the update indicator, download any pending files, and refresh if new content and/or settings are found.
When Show Update Indicator is disabled, the app will download the files in the background when an update is available, but the content will not refresh until the idle timer triggers.
If no value is configured for the Idle Time Limit or if it is set to zero, any update will be executed immediately.
Apply Immediately
This option will allow a remote update to trigger even while a visitor is using the kiosk. When Show Update Indicator is enabled, the app will display the update indicator, download any pending files, and refresh if new content and/or settings are found.
