Remote Management Server Reporting
Reporting available in the Remote Management Server can help you track usage of your kiosks by visitors, identify trends in how and when your kiosks are used, and return details about the uptime and status of your kiosks.
The majority of reports can be run for an individual kiosk, a specific group of kiosks, or all kiosks in your site at once. Most also provide average values for the selected kiosk, group, or site in a summary overview, as well as the ability to set the time period for the report.

Usage Reports
Page Usage Stats
This report shows detailed statistics for a specific page URL (or page title, depending on your preference) with a ranking of the most popular pages, and the total number of hits and percentage of hits for each.
Session Usage Stats
This report shows detailed session statistics including start and end times for each visitor session and the duration of that session.
For reference, a new session is started when a visitor approaches and touches the screen and is ended automatically when the app idle times out. For projects not using an idle time limit, the session end can manually be triggered by your content through our JavaScript API.
Content Traversal
This report ranks the most frequently used navigation pathways for visitors moving through your content and the number of sessions associated with each.
Session Page List
This report shows details about specific user sessions including the start and end times and duration of each session. The expandable detail view for each session includes a list of the web pages viewed in that session and how long the visitor spent on each.
Kiosk Usage Overview
This report shows the total number of sessions and total page count (individual page views) for each kiosk. It also includes the ability to filter the view by a specific minimum page count per session to only view data for more engaged visitors.
Kiosk Usage Comparison
Only available for a specific kiosk, not a group or entire site. This report displays session and page count comparisons for the specified kiosk over two time periods. This report can be helpful in gauging changes in visitor engagement following a change to content, signage, or physical location.
Kiosk Database Usage
This reports displays the number of database rows associated with specific kiosks, including the number of individual kiosk event logs during the time period, which could potentially be helpful in identifying specific kiosks that are not functioning properly.
Kiosk App Log
Not supported - does not return data on iOS & iPadOS devices. This report shows Windows application events that do not have an immediate analog on iOS or iPadOS.
History Reports
Content Update History
Pending update. Only available for a specific kiosk, not a group or entire site. This report is designed to return a history and status report of content updates performed through the server. We are currently updating the middleware layer of Kiosk Pro in response to changes in the server, but in the meantime, this report is not fully functional - we would recommend using the Kiosk Events report to confirm confirmation of a specific file if needed in the meantime.
Server Command History
Only available for a specific kiosk, not a group or entire site. This report displays individual server commands, the time they were sent, and the status of the command over the specified time period.
On iOS/iPadOS, the only server commands currently supported are ‘Initiate Content Update’ and ‘Send Heartbeat’. Other defined server commands (like ‘Reboot Kiosk’) are not currently supported on iOS/iPadOS due to restrictions by Apple.
Heartbeat History
This report returns a list of heartbeats sent by the app for a specific time period and highlights any periods where a heartbeat was expected but not received based on the Heartbeat interval configured in the app’s settings. A detail view of each heartbeat includes additional information about the kiosk including the type of internet connection, iOS/iPadOS version, app client version, and device model.
Kiosk Events
This report displays a list of events happening at the device during a specific time period. Events can be enabled or disabled in the app’s settings under ‘Remote Management Server’ > ‘Event Logging’ along with a specific state (info, warning, or error) for each event.
Kiosk Uptime Overview & Detail
These reports display the average and/or daily uptime totals and percentages for kiosks in the group or site over a specific time period. Low uptime percentages can indicate a problem that could require additional remediation.
Communications Reports
Communications Overview
This report returns a list of kiosks in a group or site, along with the latest heartbeat and content update timestamps for each.
Content Management Communications
Pending update. We are currently updating the middleware layer of Kiosk Pro in response to changes in the server, but in the meantime, this report is not fully functional - we would recommend using the Kiosk Events report to confirm confirmation of a specific file if needed in the meantime.
Server Commands Communications
This report returns a list of kiosks in a group or site, along with the latest check-in and update timestamps along with the specific server command sent for each.
Managed Configs
Not supported. We currently recommend updating app settings as a part of a standard content update.
Exporting Report Data
Once run, reports can be exported to a JSON file, which includes the report metadata (like the time period covered), a summary of the data, and the actual report data.
This data can be converted to .CSV format using an online converter tool (like this one) or imported into newer versions of Excel (instructions here).
