Enable Night Mode

Night Mode allows Kiosk Pro to dim and wake itself on a preset daily or weekly schedule. This feature is helpful for users who need to control the times that the kiosk is available for use or who want to conserve power &/or battery life.

Default Value: Off

During a Night Mode session, the iPad screen will dim the screen to the minimum brightness for the time periods you designate. During these time periods it's also possible to automatically display a black background &/or remove response to touch so the kiosk appears to be turned off. Note that the app does not turn off the LED backlight completely or put the iPad into a true sleep state.

At the scheduled wake time, Kiosk Pro returns the screen to the previously-set brightness level and reloads the homepage, making the kiosk available and ready to use without any staff intervention.

While a Night Mode session is active, if Kiosk Pro receives a remote update that changes the current Night Mode schedule, the kiosk will apply this update and exit Night Mode.
