What is Kiosk Pro?
Kiosk Pro is a secure web browser for iPad and iPhone designed for use in public spaces.
We introduced the app alongside the first iPad back in 2010 and it has been in continuous development since. Kiosk Pro presents your web application, content, or media to visitors as a customized kiosk app with the ability to:
Define where visitors can go
Specify what’s off-limits on the web by setting up a list of allowed domains and addresses.
Control what's displayed
Hide status, address, and/or navigation bars to make your content look like a native app.
Return to your homepage
After someone using the iPad walks away, Kiosk Pro will automatically return to your homepage after a set period of inactivity.
From there, Kiosk Pro builds on that functionality with a wide variety of features. From customization options to remote management to peripheral support, Kiosk Pro is the most flexible software platform for iPad kiosks.
Four versions of Kiosk Pro - Lite, Basic, Plus and Enterprise - allow you to pick the feature set you need. Our Tour page and feature comparison highlight some of these differences.
All four versions of Kiosk Pro are available through the App Store. Licensing is a one-time fee per device and includes free updates for the life of the product.
If your project has more than five devices, we recommend using Apple Business Manager or Apple School Manager. These programs simplify purchasing, license management, and deployment for larger projects. If you need rebranding or version control, we also offer custom B2B versions of Kiosk Pro.
Kiosk Pro is designed to display and manage content, not to create it. If you do not already have a website or content to display, we recommend using a website creation tool or working with a web developer. The app cannot run other iOS apps or limit which apps are available on the device's Home screen.
To lock the device to Kiosk Pro and your content, the iPad should be set up in Guided Access or Single App Mode. These lockdown modes prevent access to the device's home screen and settings.
